Biography
(Scrolled from Guardian. 2/2 genes complete + accent. )
(She is a minor color wheel miracle, resulting from someone pairing Indigo/Teal/Blue with triple Metals.)
What is a Snapper doing in a lair of misfits? This one appears to spend a lot of time being un-Snapperishly sedentary in her favorite spot under a small waterfall, unlike other Snappers who tend to be always on the move.
Her disinclination to wander is probably just as well, considering the terrain of the Reedcleft Ascent, and the fact that a Snapper has all the aerodynamic qualities of a typical boulder. She was carried up to the clan's lair while still quite small, and while she could probably descend unaided now if she really wanted to try, getting back up again unaided would be quite the adventure. (Though at least less so than for the Gaolers, who are each roughly twice her size.) There is help to be had, magical and otherwise, but so far she has not seemed much inclined to need it.
Cragmoss will move if she smells something burning that should not be, having an almost Tundra-keen nose for smoky odors. A small* fire that has been stamped out by a Snapper tends to stay stamped, especially after she dumps a held mouthful of water onto it for good measure, and often by the time one of the clan's Water dragons arrives there is nothing for them to do but help clean up the mess.
The wandering Cragmoss does not do in body, she makes up for with her mind, it overflows with stories and occasional poetry. The Water Coatl Falconfeather has taken to perching near Cragmoss's favorite waterfall to report the day's goings-on in exchange for stories, which keeps the Snapper informed and the Coatl entertained, as well as supplying fresh grist for the mill of this Snapper's imaginative mind.
Falconfeather's occasional habit of settling on some exposed roots above the falls to sing tends to put Cragmoss to sleep**. She has yet to say whether this is because the unusual sounds of Coatl singing make her sleepy, or in self-defense against the noise.
*(relative to several tons of dragon)
**(Snappers do not sleep. It seems they can convincingly fake-snore.)
