Biography
Heretic
Arsonist (controlled fires now, she swears this)
Raised in plague by a cult.
Her real parents are unknown and she was raised by a cultist nursemaid who took in other hatchlings with no family. It's unknown if she was born to the cult or stolen from her real family as an egg. The cult circulated around the worship of a group of infectious and rapidly generating fungi creatures that took over hosts and eventually turned them into mindless statues that fell over dead after being unable to eat. Despite this, the fungi were treated as heralds and gifts from the plague-mother.
Even hardy plague dragons falling to them did not deter the most loyal members. Hark did attend the sermons and worship the fungi, albeit from a safe distance and with only enough conviction to make sure she got her meals on time. It wasn't so bad until her childhood friend fell victim to the fungi after being punished for stealing and she was forced to watch them become nothing but a lifeless pile of bones and rot. Enraged, Hark burned many of the nests to avenge her friend and was jailed for it. Her foster mother set her free in secret and told her to run and never return.
Hark fled to the nature territories knowing her pursuers wouldn't dare tread on rival soil. They had always been too prideful for their own good.
Though she keeps a low profile and hardly leaves the territory, she has no trouble telling others about what she did to come here. She wears her brand as a heretic with pride.
