Came here with about no treasure to his name and a sweet disposition that invoked A LOT of pity in everyone else. Thankfully he was not a total lost cause.
Rathe is just a good boy trying his best and doing what he can to look after those who need a bit of extra help. He has his moments of ignorance with social cues despite coming from such a socially adept breed. He doesn't always take hints well but when it comes to strategy in the field or organizing a hunting party, he's incredibly competent. It drives Engel crazy how someone can be so good at noticing and utilizing others talents for the best results but can't read a room to save his life. This banescale just wants to help others. He's a bit of a dork and a nerd, you can find him helping Desert with his RPG sessions and happily keeps track of stats and goals for each group.
He formed a bond with Midsommar out of fear for her well-being. Her breakdowns happen less frequently if he is around as a grounding force for her. She is like a sister to him and he worries about her often.

He is the chosen mate of Thana. His nature clashes with hers immensely but 'opposites attract' seems to be very true for both of them. He can rely on his buff wife for anything and is immensely proud of what she does for the lair.
