The figurehead leader of the clan, him and Amberajck lead as a duumvirate. He was blessed by the Tidelord to be the clan's leader, and thus has the Water flight insignia.

Although he is a Water elemental, as a Ridgeback, he despises the water, and has set up an on land spot for him and other like-minded, land dwelling dragons to roost, nest, and do whatever else they want safely. Knifejaw protects this area; Amberjack protects down below.

Although he is technically the leader, he does not concern himself with the finer details of leadership. He also had no interest in going through the lengthy and complicated rituals of worshiping the clans respective deity despite being blessed by him.

He is not a completely inept leader, though, as when the clan is in serious trouble from the Beastclans or a raider from other clans, he's more than willing to defend his home to the death, though he is quite rash in resorting to violence. He's quick to start a fight but usually requires Amberjack's assistance in finishing it.

Amberjack and Knifejaw make a formidable team, covering each other's weaknesses, and using their respective elements to their advantage.
