Adhara is a descendent of Mars, an alien to Sornieth from the small red planet that shares his name. As such, Adhara is an heir to the planet Mars. Though she certainly isn't close enough in line to have any real claim to the 'throne' of the desert planet, she does take her position far more seriously than her father. For countless nights, she stared up at the stars, knowing her true home planet was not among them, but wondering all the same what was happening in those red sands so many dimensions away.

Now that she is older and has perfected her dimension-hopping ability, Adhara has visited Mars many times now - both her planet, and her grandfather. She shares her grandfather's dreams of restoring Mars, and has dedicated her life to discovering how. Though many in her family may see it as a fruitless effort, or something that will happen in its own time, Adhara feels that she must take personal action in figuring out how to return life to Mars; personally, she doesn't believe that it's as simple as repopulating the planet. Martian children with non-Martian parents often cannot inhabit their home planet due to its harsh climate, which hinders the repopulation effort. And while a Martian can reproduce asexually, the process is taxing on the individual. The solution is plain to Adhara: Mars must be made habitable to all.

In pursuit of how to terraform an entire planet, Adhara has travelled across many dimensions and galaxies. In these journeys, she encountered a creature much like herself. Ozan, though born on Sornieth as well, is a Temporal Rifter, a being capable of traversing through dimensions and time. Upon finding out their shared abilities, Adhara and Ozan began to travel together, eventually marrying on their birth planet. Adhara is fascinated by Ozan's unique bloodline, and deeply appreciates the company during her travels. With Martians so few and far between, and even fewer being able and willing to do as Adhara does, Ozan's companionship and love in priceless.

Dedicated and intelligent, Adhara has become deeply invested in the study of environments and biology. She typically visits other planets in order to further her studies in these subjects, hoping desperately to one day find something that will help her planet. Recently, Ozan has been able to convince her to take trips to other worlds for her own enjoyment - a much needed break for the biologist. These trips, though they do typically help her wind down, also fuel her passion to terraform her home planet; Adhara sees what these other worlds are, their cultures, their families, their oceans and their forests and their wildlife, and so desperately wants that for the world that is her birthright.
