Biography

History of Orcarosite
by Seina
Mysterious, powerful and highly desired. The orcarosite, a mesmerizing arcane gemstone with exceptional ability to preserve magical energy. For ages, this rare material was exclusive to a small forested area on the border of Arcane territory.
It was used in various high-end enchanting practices by highly educated mages, but only locally. It was forbidden to carry orcarosite out of the mining town, as the locals believed it turned harmful when disconnected from its source.
That was until the wicked strands of Wandering Contagion crept their way into the mining outposts. The woodland edge had fallen to the element of trial and its potential had dispersed into the land, polluting its life with uncontrolled mana.
The Arcane denizens and researchers duly fled, leaving the Orcarosite mines to be fully overtaken by the Plague wilderness.
Since then for decades the territory has been contested over and over by different groups attempting to regain control, to no one's success. The contamination had changed orcarosite to its core.
The more lunar cycles passed, the deeper the released corrupted mana seeped into the land, flora and fauna, leaving it with a peculiar pink tint and strange, unheard-of aura. This soon became a distinct mark of those who successfully adapted to the new ways of this location. Individuals with this coloration were found to be peculiarly aggressive and dominated the zone, pushing out anything "foreign" - or specifically, anything not a shade of red.
>>>>>>>>>>>

Scholars of Sornieth gave up the land's riches, and the old mines thrived in isolation.
Years had passed before this special material was heard of again. Extraordinary group of scientists had broken off of the Oculus of The Eleven, pursuing personal interests. They called themselves "The Null", and soon became known for their questionable practices that they applied in their search for a dragon of neutral element.
This group had managed to deal great damage to Orcarosite, but in a way also to move the place out of its quarantine. The group, nicknamed ’’Chaos Alliance’’ by those affected by them, first began gathering in Shifting Expanse, before moving to Scarred Wasteland. Their activity soon earned the attention of the elemental deities themselves, who promptly ordered immediate disperse of the alliance.
The most notable point in their progress through Sornieth would be the attack on Fortress of Ends, the last ditch effort to remove magic out of the world, and re-establish a new, elementally neutral order. However, the group never got to see the results of this operation. Soon after the workers of the alliance turned on their leaders in retaliation, the headquarters located in the heart of the Orcaosite town disappeared alongside the staff, leaving nothing but a deep pit in the middle of a field where the ground swallowed them.
Only very few dragons who took part in the movement remained, among them the overseer of the Orcarosite citizens, light imperial Sigrid, a rejected specimen of Chaos Alliance's experiments, ice tundra Sparrow, and the last experiment who was deemed successful, plague ridgeback Arpaad. These three are now recognized as the three lords of Orcarosite, and since have worked together on turning the town into a fully functioning clan, The Pink Punks, and recovering the place from their past corruption.

Most denizens of the town were employed in the movement of the Chaos Alliance unknowingly, and some stuck to the science behind the magical orcarosite gemstone.
My name is Seina, I am the head of the Centre for Heteroclite Analysis and Orcarosite Study.
Yes… it's called C.H.A.O.S. It wasn’t my idea, but the name stuck with my team like the vile stench of rot. For the last few years I focused my time here into recording everything about the past of this place.
Plague is all about adaptation, and we will not let the same mistakes slide. And by mistakes I mean messing with the craft of our deity Plaguebringer.
>>>>
In the present, the town of Orcarosite fully falls under The Pink Punks clan, and is used as a centre for trades, rehabilitation and training of soldiers for domination. Yes, that includes letting non-pink dragons into the territory. Just not near the pit. It’s not getting near it that is the issue, it’s getting away.
Those who exhibit lack of adaptation to orcarosite exposure are allowed in the perimeter, until they develop some pink coloration or are ready to move on.
>>>>>>>
Those highly adapted pursue their interest as plague infectionists, and travel the Wandering Contagion. The town is usually surrounded in camps of these nomads, as they regularly return to nest, trade loot, and introduce new members.
The most utilised parts of the town are the hidden underground tunnels, used as storage and connection to other clans. And of course, our research centre, located in the deeper ends of the mines, where we aren't interrupted by the rampaging elements and the crazy- I'm sorry, adaptive plague inhabitants.
