Xiaoping is the botanist, florist, and overall domesticated plants-guy in the Laospí Clan. He is also the Heir-Consort to Kaho, the young Monarch-in-training. He descends from the regal Sunset lineage and recontacted his honoured grandmother after a lifetime of separation due to his mother's extreme independence. He serves a special role as his clan's ambassador to both his mother's and grandmother's clans when necessary. [FINISH LATER]

Xiaoping did not grow up flying. His mother was not born of air like other Imperials, and his father would just as often lurk beneath the frigid water with his frozen heart than teach any of his children how to fly. Xiaoping learned patience, resilience, and unflappable calm from his parents; Lisse was wildly volatile and Everit was never any comfort, so the young Imperial had to create his own. His natural tendencies turned him inward and he created a thought-palace through the years: an elegant white conservatory, spires crawling with ivy and hanging gardens leading gracefully from terrace to gazebo to sweeping staircase in the gentle sun and breeze. The dappled, imaginary refuge lasted him many years on the blighted Plague wastelands, until he left his family in search of it. It had to be out there somewhere.
