Sunset >>

{still working on her lore}

When Lisse was younger she was a very spunky and energetic child. She never enjoyed swimming nor could she really swim. She's a water dragon so her father found such a thing quite odd, how could a water dragon not be able to swim? Lisse would sit at the banks of the river and watch as her father would congratulate her siblings abilities to swim and long for him to say the same thing to her. Her father had long since given up on trying to teach her to swim and thats when her mother stepped in with open 'wings'. Sunset was a noble lightening dragon with miraculous flying skills that no other dragon could quite match. Sunset would often hold Lisse and tell her that maybe she just ended up with lightening genes despite being a water dragon and that maybe shes destined to be a high flyer like her mother.

Weeks passed and to no avail she was quite obviously not destined to be a lightning dragon either. She could barely even do a loop-d-loop without crashing back down and even then her flying was unsteady to begin with. She never had the wing shape nor strength to properly control the direction in which she went so her mother was always trailing behind her just in case something went wrong (it often did). Sunset never said a word about it but she was now starting to doubt her daughters ability to even fly. As the long days grew on and on of Lisse flying and crashing into others or just falling. Lisse herself began to see behind her mothers smile that she was beginning to lack the ability and strength to keep 'babying' Lisse. Word of Lisse's inability to fly or swim had spread like wild fire as her siblings and relatives would watch as she would often crash into things or go free falling. Pretty soon the siblings had began to tease her and taunt her about her failures.

While more time had passed Lisse began to despise everyone, even her own mother who had began training one of her brothers. She sat watching as everyone around her began to mature and advance at their abilities while she spent most of her time alone muttering to herself. One day she was finally pushed to her breaking point when her brother who had just completed his training had told her that he'll be what she cannot be and will forever be their mothers favorite. Lisse could feel the anger in her growing as she lashed out pinning her brother and holding a claw to his neck. All the bustling dragons stopped to stare at what was going on. Someone approached behind Lisse before getting thwarted away with a hard lash of her tail. Lisse was staring into his eyes ready to finally drag her claw when she heard her mother call her name. She froze as she looked up at the dragon filled with surprise and what almost seemed like sadness in her eyes. Before Sunset could say anything else Lisse had lept away from her brother by digging her claws into him to get a good lift off. She haphazardly flew through the air while accidentally smacking multiple witnesses with her tail and legs.

Lisse had finally crashed into the ground of a frozen barren land. She crumpled herself up and began to sob before screaming out in anger. Her heart was filled with melting and festering sadness and maybe a little bit of anger. She began to sit there for quite a while thinking about the look on her mothers face, she had never seen her with such a distressed look. A deep cold voice echoed and boomed behind her and she quickly whipped around to see the coldhearted glare of an ice dragon,,,,
