Crystal loves to collect things, and is very protective of hir hoard. Ze has been fascinated by the history of Sornieth since hirs days as a hatchling, and strongly feels that both an impartial view and the records of differing perspectives should be preserved for future generations-to understand the present, we must understand the past.

In hir youth, ze dreamed of joining the scholars of the Rimebone Stockade in studying and preserving artefacts of Sonieth's past. However, as ze grew, ze took on the project of studying the history of the Southern Icefield and the Fortress of Ends, the region's most secure prison. Deeply concerned by the conditions of the prisoners, and the system by which they were imprisoned, Crystal attempted to gather support to petition the Glacial Assembly for reform in the system. However, hir suggestion greatly offended the majority of the realm's denziens, and ze was pressured into leaving hir home in the Snowsquall Tundra.
