the lil guy that flops end over end out of the prize chute is some sort of...trash puppet (positive). they've been cleverly constructed with recycled materials! plus, you could probably use them to distract any wayward coyotes on the way back through the desert, which is a nice bonus.

i offer the machine a set of watercolour paints and some nice paper. who doesnt like a nice lil arts and craft gift?

a mass of colorful fake hair gets stuck in the prize slot, and you have to carefully untangle it. this lil guy appears to be some sort of worm on a string: Art Kid Edition. its long nose resembles a fountain pen, and the tail is made of brush fibers for painting - in case you need to paint, and don't have a paint brush, but Do have this worm on a string. how handy!

i offer the machine a gameboy and a game but the label is damaged. it reads P_L_BI__

something small clinks down into the prize slot, and for a moment, you wonder if the machine somehow refunded an old quarter - but it's your lil guy! it's just thick enough to not quite be a bead or a coin of some sort, but still pretty flat. its face is a bit strange, but (artist's note: hopefully) cute. one of its eyes, although closed in apparent contentment, has some deep, deliberate looking scratch marks.

i offer the machine well loved childhood plush. it's threadbare from being cuddled every day.

the capsule that rolls gracefully down the prize chute contains a soft and rather elegant looking lil guy. they have a mature air about them, and their two-toned fur is shimmery when you rotate them in the light.

i check my pockets for anything else and come up with an assortment of cheap, tacky, plastic jewelry. i offer it all to the machine

the machine in turn gives you a lil guy who somewhat resembles the type of home-made jewelry you might make as a child. the string is stretchy elastic, and the beads are bright and colorful, all made of cheap plastic. this lil guy has an eternal smile painted onto the heart shaped bead that makes up part of her face.

i tuck a lil piece of paper into the coin slot that has a pawprint messily painted on from a cat's paw dipped in paint

‼️ FACTORY DEFECT LIL GUY VARIANT ALERT ‼️
your prize actually gets stuck in the machine, and you have to pry it out by hand - luckily this lil guy is a stretchy one, and it snaps back into your grip as soon as its freed. the body seems to be made of a jelly-like material, and when you squeeze its front paws, paint comes out! how inconvenient for cuddling :( |
