Marimba Maestro Uh-oh, looks like this woody, haunting tundra wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread. If you don't want another traveler in return, they can be sent to their original home via the Crossroads, or this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it! |

It's as if the very forest speaks through Handlebar's marimba, enchanting all that listen with its ancient lull. She's a veritable master of the specialty instrument, playing highly technical pieces on it that would normally take a team of dragons solo with what appears to be ease. In fact, Handlebars dedicates most of her time to practicing her instrument of choice, on and off of the stage. She's never satisfied with her current skill level and wants to be remembered as one of Sornieth's best - a relatively niche category, but all the more reason to excel in it, in her eyes. Her presence in your clan must mean that she has an impromptu concert planned. It's always a treat to watch a master play, no matter your affinity for live music. Maybe she's worth checking out? It can be impossible to separate Handle from her music, seeing as it is most of her personality. Talking about anything else with her is an instant conversation killer, as the tundra doesn't feel comfortable with stranger's small talk. Perhaps a fellow musician could break through her shell? Handlebars was visiting a Water Flight Clan located inside an air bubble on the sea floor. She could not remember how she got there, but the city was huge. As the tundra walked the streets, she was approached by a grayish purple mirror. "And just where are you from?" the mirror asked. "I am from Mavenlark Clan" replied the tundra. "Silence" a voice caught both dragons by surprise. I black nocturne came from the shadows smoking a cigar. "Did you say you were from Mavenlark Clan?" the nocturne asked. "Yes sir" replied the tundra.
The nocturne turned to the mirrior. "Anka" the nocturne retorted. "You were not greeted like that when you came here and if you want to stay, you better learn some manners." "Yes sir" retorted the mirror." and apologized to the tundra and with a change of tone commented on Mavenlark Clan. "Now that is more like it" retorted the nocturne. Turning to the tundra. "My name is Admiral Tiny and I have heard a lot about Mavenlark Clan. Please make youself at home and let your leader know that you will be treated with respect. Welcome to Alligator Clan." The Tundra had heard about Alligator Clan before. "So this is Alligator Clan?" the tundra commented. "I have read about a Clan called Alligator Clan, but according to the history books, Alligator Clan was once a Lightning Flight Clan." "Yes" retorted Tiny "It is true, we originated in Shifting Expanse."
The next day, the tundra visited a castle. Inside the castle was a long wall which had a picture of every dragon that have lived in Alligator Clan, including visitors and travelers. They were just putting up the picture of her as she was walking through. There was another hall which was reserved for dragons who lived in Alligator Clan during their time in Shifting Expanse. To her surprise, many of the dragons she saw were listed as from Mavenlark Clan, but must she did not recognize because they had visited Alligator Clan before she was hatched. The tundra was curious and after farther research, she discovered that many dragons came to Alligator Clan to go to college. There was a flight university in Alligator Clan known as Alligator Clan University of Flight. She wanted to enroll, but the school did not take students as young as her, but she could return someday if her test scores were high enough.
That was about all she could learn for now, so she decided to head on her next adventure and perhaps return when she was ready to go to college..
