A member of the proud tradition of "Clownpants", a subsection of the tundra race dedicated solely to the clown performance arts, Chubbyruffles is a classic clown in every sense of the word. He is profoundly rotund, yet lithe enough to balance atop rolling rubber balls while spinning plates on sticks. His laugh is quick and often self-directed, unafraid of flubbing a trick or two if it means getting a rise out of his audience. And of course, he adores hatchlings, doing anything in his power to make them feel like the center of the world - if only for a few seconds of his performance. In fact, Chubbyruffles loves performing so much that he is never seen out of his clown persona. Most Clownpants are content to hang up the red rubber nose at the end of the day and take some time for themselves, but not Chubbyruffles - if that even is his "real" name. His dedication to clowncraft - which is a multi-faceted thing involving story-telling, joke-making, acrobatics, body contortion, and other artforms - have earned him top billing in the Spirited Lady Circus.
