Unlike his sibling Flare, Alusair has never been much into fashion or jewelry, much to his parents surprise. In fact, he could care less, turning on his heels or letting out an exaggerated sigh when the subject was brought up. He was, and still is, the complete polar opposite of his sister. While he could’ve grown out of this stubborn attitude for standing apart from Flare, he never did, as the two were always getting into petty arguments, and the last thing he wanted her to think is that she won this long running unspoken competition of theirs. What competition exactly? If you asked Alusair he probably wouldn’t be able to tell you, but being as stubborn as he is theres no getting around his constant need to aggravate his sister. Perhaps this was just a jealousy for her talent to make stunning clothing like their mother though? He would never admit to something like that, however it was a bit obvious that he wanted to have the family spotlight. But with no hobbies or interests, he just seemed to be your typical hatchling, and it was hard to praise him for anything when he was constantly bickering with Flare and hiding away in the depths of the ice caves. As he grew older, this feeling only worsened, watching as his sister became very talented at her craft and was well liked by the clan, where as he was barely noticed unless he started up trouble. But what could he do? Alusair Didn’t understand the concept of practice makes perfect, and everything he did felt like immediate failure. He seemed to completely miss his sisters slow and gradual learning process that lead up to her current skill level. Angered by this, he decided to leave the clan soon after his sibling, in search of something he could use to outshine her.
