S U M M A R Y
Glad watched the futures change as Luminax killed the son of the clan leader and his guards, and the questions came then: "Why did you not warn us? We could have stopped this, why didn't you say anything?" Glad tried to explain, but he was exiled, and his treachery was spread throughout the Lightbringer's domain. He knew he was to blame, but it hurt that others hated him for it. Glad eventually found his way to the shattered plain, and stumbled upon a bustling market, and was overtaken by a vision of a dragon suffocating as he put on a necklace in front of a blue tent. He ran towards it, just as a rust colored fae in a blue hat passed over a wrapped parcel to the ridgeback Glad had seen in his vision. "STOP!" Glad ran over and grabbed the wrapped parcel before the dragon could open it. Finally, some good luck, he thought, as he realized he had saved the ridgeback. Unluckily, his claws brushed against the cool green stone within, and his vision went dark. Glad woke up a week later in the cozy bed of the fae that had ran the stall the gem was from as he grumbled and complained, but still forced Glad back into bed whenever he tried to leave for fear of overstaying his welcome. Bradley took him in, in his own strange way, and Glad started to help him out - finding the things that were dangerous and probably not the best to sell to hapless fools, and eventually (begrudgingly) finding a crystal ball and doing psychic readings that made almost as much money as the sale of all of Bradley's oddities. |
