Winona was known to be cold and distant. A loner who was brought up to be a great magician. Her powers were extraordinary and it was clear she would one day be a powerful dragon. It was in her blood after all. But since Winona was raised this way she wasn't good with others and she grew up distant from the world around her. All she knew was magic and all she truly loved was magic. The only friends she had were her Familiars. Winona was truly never cold or mean. She just never expressed her feelings on her face.

A beautiful outgoing dragon who made exquisite tea. Leja was the exact opposite of Winona but somehow these two became good friends. They met during a ball in the winter. The two at first disliked each other since Winona bumped into Leja and didn't say sorry. They used to fight since they both had a lot of pride in their names. Leja the queen of tea and Winona the lady of astonishing magic. They ended bumping into each other everywhere they went. Leja would tease Winona but it was in a friendly manner. The two ended up meeting weekly for tea at one of Leja's tea shops. Leja really did enjoy giving Winona her tea and she also enjoyed seeing Winona's different expressions. Leja was the only person Winona would laugh with or be share feelings with. The two shared a deep connection.

"Serira. My name was once Serira when I was human. Serira Elmon Hephyre was my name and I was in love with you."

"I had a dream about you. You were weird-looking. No, we both were weird-looking. But you were so pretty I couldn't stop watching as you spilled a drink all over my head. That's why I think we met in a past life. I know it's weird but I feel like these were memories." This was true. Winona and Leja used to be humans. This is why the two are so gifted. They were from a different time period. They speak elegantly, perform basic movements with grace, and overall show themselves as proper dragons. In their past life, Leja was a villainess type of person. She did evil things to get her way. She was jealous of Winona and did many things to make Winona mad. They never seemed to work. In Winona's dreams, there was a scene where Leja had confessed her feelings in a garden. It went somewhat like this.

"You never listen to me! Why can't you just give up on those foolish writings and come live with me? You'll never marry anyway!" -Leja

"Actually, I am to marry next winter. My father is setting me up with Mr. Pearl..." - Winona

"Y-you are? H-how could this be? This can't be true! Serira I know you don't want to be married. Mr. Pearl isn't a fit man for you so tell your father to cancel it. If you'd like I can get my father to-"

"Libertia. That is quite enough. I wish to hear no more of your pleads. I am to marry into the pearl family and be a normal wife. I was born into this world just like you and we both know our duties as women. I do not want to speak on this anyway. I bid you farewell, Miss de'nesa'varmines." -Winona

"I love you. You know this and yet you wish to leave for that man who you don't even love. Enough with that talk of yours! Why can't we be together and leave this place? I'll let you write and study the stars all day long if that is what you wish. I'll do anything for us to be together so please don't leave me Serira!" The sobbing past Leja still hurt Winona's heart. The faint words still live in Winona's head. These words are what she last said to Libertia before she died. "Maybe in the next life, we can be together. We can live in that little fantasy of yours. But right now in this life, I will do what I was born to do."
