At one with the dry plains and crags of Dragonhome, Jenru is an unparalleled stalker and scout, able to disappear among the dusty rocks and sere grasses without a trace. She works for Foma in a number of capacities, as a caravan guard, bounty hunter, observer, and...assassin is such a fraught word, Foma remarks. Say instead, problem solver. Profoundly antisocial, Jenru is most content out in the wilds and appears in civilization only when necessary to trade for supplies or to report to Foma. Usually her rough garb, forbidding lack of expression, and generally unfriendly attitude discourage other dragons from approaching her despite her striking (if somewhat harsh) good looks; however, when necessary she can draw nondescriptness about her like a cloak, becoming just one person in a crowd, unremarkable and invisible. Jenru in fact came to the Earth realm to disappear. The product of a secret genetic experiment crossing dragons with extrasorniethians, she escaped from her creator-captors, slaying everyone involved in the project and destroying the facility in her wake. Her alien origins have given her strength, speed, and indestructibility far exceeding other dragons of her size. (The power of her grip has shocked many of her targets.) She never speaks of her past, and even Foma doesn't know the full extent of her abilities. Jenru intends to keep it that way. 
» Despite her misdrakony, she gets along well with various groups of beastclan, even considering some of them to be friends. She is very familiar with the customs of the local raptorik and is an adopted member of one of their tribes, the Bone Spear People. She also has a number of contacts among the centaurs, harpies, longnecks, and sprangyroos. » Fear has little hold on Jenru, but one thing haunts her: the dread that another of her kind might have escaped the facility.
