The decor that litters the castle is protected by a spectacle of guards that roam the halls, almost always on guard. As you pass the luminous statues and delicately weaved banners, even if you aren't really a critic of art, you still have to admire the general aesthetic. The queen seems to put a lot of emphasis on shiny and expensive luxuries, whether for her own enjoyment or to brag to others. You stop at one specific decor, which you find a bit strange, due to it being poised right in front of a door. One seemingly crafted out of obsidian, a life-sized imagining of an Imperial. It'd have been impressive, had it not been for the fact it's seemed to be cracked, held together by veins of what you can only presume as a blue sort of glue. Really, what a shame-

- was eventually discovered by the queen marigold, who recognized one of their markings as a sign of possessing the phaethon gene. she took them in as their private tutor, acting as a motherly figure and giving them the new name of “lapis”
- they feel extremely indebted to her, which is what led them to join the guard in the first place, wishing to impress and help her out as much as they can
- still inherently introverted and quiet. though their bad luck has seemed to lessen since being taken in by marigold, they worry over the idea that it could occur again
- strangely talented at staying completely still, making them an excellent spy(so long as they have a more… charismatic partner with them)and often getting them mistaken as a “statue”
- fascination with small animals… and bones
- despite maintaining a serious and non-faltering attitude… they seem to have a strange sense of sarcasm. visha is rather unfairly blamed for this
- closest with hedylogos, who seems to consider each other as kindred spirits
