 The daughter of Light clan, she could easily become a scientist, philosopher or at least cartographer, but Ovi always found herself drawn to the heavens. But in that vaulted midnight swathe she did not see science, nor gods, nor journeys. The stars did not speak to her of futures, pasts, or formulae, but they did speak to her. She knew what she had to do - and so she started to write. These Observatory dragons, this Temple of Soul, as fairly big clan, had a lot going on - from festival celebraions to battling with beastclans, from recruiting new seasoned members to bringing up own hatchlings, from listening to what oldest dragons had to say to participating in dominance confrontations. All of this, including life stories of those dragons willing to share, usually were recorded, but not in a way which Ovi found satisfying. She preferred poetry. Great historian, both deeply aware of deeds of the past and following current events with almost offensive aspiration, she only uses poems to describe those, much to delight of kids who find this way to learn quite enthralling, and to bewilderment of librarians who see her as nothing but bizzare. Some even wonder if Ovi is able to talk normally - even her silent curses as she runs away from loud hatchlings seem to be rhymed. She avoids bards and minstrels, as well - Ovi fails to take them seriously since they prefer to indite legends and fairytales instead of reality.
