Elioth

Elioth was a lost soul, until they met Alastor and Llewelyn. The twins were the newest addition to the Master's plans, and they were promising, much more than Elioth ever was.
If Elioth's body didn't suffer that much from the Faëries' powers' channeling, their mind had been lost during the last experiment involving them, as long as their abilities that interested the Master. What they had been, Elioth had no idea - no memory. They didn't even know who they used to be. That dragon died that night, taken away by the Faëries, leaving behind a blank sheet of a dragon. However, even as a blank sheet, they were still alive ; maybe that's why the Master, despite having to interest in keeping them for his project, kept them in the fortress as handydragon - or maybe, resident court fool.

Their identity was a patchwork of random thoughts and their character a mix of sudden emotions. However, they kept feeling attracted to the twins, maybe as they felt they were in danger as they were themself not long ago. The bright one was friendly and warm, and Elioth missed that so much - the gloomy one felt different, but not that much. It was just strangely satisfying to be in his vicinity, as if he was warm, but not even on purpose.
Elioth wanted to do something for them, but what could a broken, poor excuse of a dragon being even hope to do in such a situation ? Then Llewelyn gave them a name, and everything changed, as if this simple act was mending their broken mind and assembling the random parts to form a real, worthy person.

The tree Veilspuns began to prepare their escape.

What Alastor did to protect them really hit Elioth hard, because Elioth knew how paralyzed by fear Alastor was, because what he couldn't tell his brother to protect him, he told them, he told Elioth, because the trusted them, and that was the most hopeful feeling. And yet Alastor promised to share his soul and every thoughts with enhanced fears, both his own, terrifying inner terrors, and the others', inviting themselves in him. And would have to keep all that inside.
Elioth knows Llewelyn probably never truly, fully understood how much Alastor did for them that night, and they doubts he would ever understand. Alastor does too much to prevent this from happening.

They never needed to confess each other their feelings, it became obvious between them over time. However, Alastor has a special place for them in this mental allegory, and they often meet there, in a place where Alastor can make anything happen, and where there's only the two of them. They often fall asleep like that, cuddling both in real life and in Alastor's mind.
As broken Elioth may feel they are, they really are a soothing and warm presence to Alastor, able to ease his fears.

They escaped and arrived in the clan. They were given a place to rest, where they wouldn't be separated, and a lot of nice dragons took care of them. Protected them. Adopted them.
Elioth had a family and a home again.

Elioth fear they will not be at their place in the clan, but quickly felt welcome and taken care of (at least a few specialists here were ready to help them explore their existence, if that's what they wanted).
They decided to help the clan by helping the managers keeping the enclave ordered and clean. A kind of janitor, if you will. Being this helpful and getting to visit dragons to help them keeping their living space neat is bringing Elioth a lot of joy. They also sometimes joins Alastor and Llewelyn at the Mage College as listening student, but isn't able to practise magic themself.
Indeed, cleaning the whole clan as a little Veilspun and without magic is some kind of challenge. But Elioth isn't alone, and gets along well with the other clanmates.

Elioth loves Alastor with all their heart. They fear they will never be able to show him how much they love him and that's causes them anxiety - an anxiety Alastor can feel too well telepathically, and tries his best to ease.


Elioth is non-binary (they/them) and mainly attracted to males.

Cuneis A creature bearing ancient inscriptions - Inscribed Pangolin This inscribed pangolin was once a regular pangolin, before it came in the mage college unnoticed and disturbed an experiment on runes and old knowledge. In the end it was safe, but it scales were adorned with ancient runes. It began to live a life of mage college pet before it befriending the veilspun janitor.

Dire Claw Familiar As if normal bears were not troublesome enough! 4500

Garret Dire Claw This guarding bear took a liking on Alastor (as it keeps happening), and Elioth took a liking on it. It wanted to come with them, so Elioth made it part of the escape plan, that's why it went with them. It's really affectionate and a good defense pet. Of course, the name is from Llewelyn.

Fungal Garden Familiar This creature's carefully cultivated assortment of fungi may help it attract a mate, though it is also known to gather mushrooms purely for its own enjoyment. 2800

Brock Fungal Garden It came in their lair one day and was just... here. It stayed. Garret sometimes feeds on its mushrooms, which doesn't seem to bother it.
