Due to his dark coloration combined with his immensely shy demeanor, many often assume Alcyone wants to be alone and feel that he is moderately unapproachable. The Tundra will often sit alone during meals and keep to himself in the Collector's common area, reading or tinkering with magic items on the smallest table. He often enhances the magical properties of armor or talismans, being very knowledgeable of magic materials even if unable to cast many spells himself, and will simply drop the improved items off at the Warrior or Mage's common areas without a word.

However, despite his gloomy and quiet demeanor, the Tundra is actually immensely appreciative of company and praise. If a dragon notices his work and thanks him for it or sits beside him as he eats or works, small pink sparkles will glisten on Alcyone's fur, expressing the dragon's happiness. While he is fairy quiet when engaged in conversation, he isn't uncomfortable, but simply prefers to listen rather than talk. Other dragons in the clan are gradually realizing his quirks, and the other collectors around him are gradually getting to know the dark Tundra with the pink sparkles more.
