Backstory (first person view)
Claws, Bolts, and Slashes were flying everywhere. The battle was intense. I have never fought a battle so large and unorganized. In fact, this battle was so large, you couldn’t tell who you were fighting against, or who was winning. I had enemy’s coming at me from all different sides and angles. Now it was becoming clear who was losing, and that just happened to be my flight. I could see soldiers of my own clan even falling out of the sky. I felt... traumatized. I was so caught up with trying to protect my fellow soldiers that I didn’t realize that an enemy dragon had flown up behind me. With one swift movement my enemy cast a spell and in result I was hit right in the head with a vile bolt. The last thing I remember was plummeting to the ground before my body hit the sand hard. Then everything went black.

When I woke I was in a rather dainty beach hut. The walls were barely visible because they were covered with scrolls. Some had paintings, and others had spells of medical magic, and even lists of herbs. Most of the details were illegible, mainly because of my poor eyesight after waking up, but also because the writing was fairly small. I turned my head to examine my self. It had seemed one of my legs, my left wrist, and a third of my tail had been wrapped in bandages. I also saw a petite Coatl wrapping my right wing in bandages. “Oh, You’re awake!”, The Coatl said in delight. “I’m Paradise, a healer of all in need of healing.”, He then said with a warm (and beautiful) smile. “No matter the dragon, I never give up on them. Also, welcome to Churnscar Wharf!” After finishing the wrapping around my wing, Paradise pulled out a piece of parchment paper and a quill. “I will be documenting your recovery in order to keep track of what spells I cast are and aren’t working.”, He says as he jots something down quickly. “Do you have a title you go by along with your name?” Paradise asks, looking up from his paper. “Lieutenant Heatwave.”, I say. “But you can call me Heatwave.”
