___________________________________ - Nickname: Dazy Pronouns: She/They Role: Clan Doctor Mate: Bonetail |
|
Backstory: Midnightdaze and her mate Bonetail are at the heart of Ashbringer's clan. Ash and Tigerqueen provide the leadership of the clan, but Dazy and Bones are the ones who deal with day-to-day affairs. Dazy cares for the physical health of her clanmates, and Bones looks to their spiritual health. But it wasn't always this way. Dazy was raised on the Zephyr Steppes to a proud Imperial mother, but due to the mysteries surrounding the strange deaths of Imperials, she knew of no others beyond family. Death became somewhat of a fascination to her - while no one in her family had died, she was well aware of her own potential to die young. Her fascination turned to care, and she studied far and wide to learn the trade of healing - both through herbal remedies, alchemy, and magic. She became somewhat of a savant even at a young age. Soon, she had learned all she thought she could from the Windswept Plateau and turned her interests elsewhere.
The Scarred Wasteland became a subject of fascination for her. The endless cycle of destruction was a thing of horror and awe, and she learned to treat more ailments there than she ever could have from home. Before long, she stumbled onto a unique clan of Plague dragons. They called themselves an Alliance of Queens, and each Queen had several males under their command along with their own hatchlings. The primary Queen, Snow, allowed her to stay among them, offering protection in exchange for Dazy's treatment of her ailing first hatchling, Alabaster. Dazy was able to successfully heal the young Queen. She was fascinated by this Hive - the dragons who lived among them where incredibly resilient. With the exception of Alabaster's illness, long since cured, none of the adult dragons ever caught illness, and when injured they would heal swiftly - often before the day's end.
The mystery of this would continue to allude her, as desiring to continue her quest for knowledge, she left the Scarred Wasteland to continue on to the Domain of the Shadowbinder, the Tangled Wood. After coming from the Wasteland, the Woods felt breathtakingly filled with life - even if it was spooky, shadowy life. At that time, Ashbringer was just setting up her lair in Wispwillow Grove. Her clan was small - only five adults and two hatchlings, but something about them caught her eye. Or perhaps it was someone. Bones had only recently joined with Ashbringer when she, her mate Swamptongue, and companions Tigerqueen and Wraithshade had settled in the Grove. His passion was Shadowbinder, and she'd never met anyone else who lived their lives with the same amount of intensity as her before. They would stay up late into the night just talking about their interests and passions, and Dazy decided to set up her new lair with him. Their partnership has become one of the foundations of the clan, and everyone who has sinced joined regard them as essential to their daily lives.
