Lavender

It was dark, and a storm was brewing as Johann was on his Search, one that would lead him to his destiny.

Thunder boomed, and lightening crashed as he stumbles inside a forest clearing, the soft green grass seemingly unaffected by the weather, and also as if it was inviting him to rest, to sleep, and to wake tomorrow with renewed strength.

Little did he know, the brown dragon with green wings was being watched, a dryad examining Johanns sleeping form, relaying the information to their master, a purple and white pearlcatcher, watching nearby, little spoken words, but many mental words being formed.

"Do you think he's on a Search?" the dryad spoke,the pearlcatcher male nodding. "more likely than not, unless their Search's result was brought with them"

Just then, the guardian snorted and woke, locking eyes by accident. a feeling welled up inside him, and he smiles,his Search complete at first sight.
"Greetings, my name is Johann, and I'm here to protect you, no matter what".
the pearlcatcher looked surprised, but nods, saying back "Well Johann, my name is Lavender, and it's an honor to be your Search's result".
Johann bows, and says in a honest, yet slight demanding tone "come with me, I know of a place where you'll be safe".
Lavender sighs, but follows anyways, despite his willingness to leave.

They flew through the storm for days, feeding only when there was a perfect time to do so, and a good amount at a time. finally reaching the zephyr steppes that he calls home with his adopted family.

And the rest is history, as they say.
