History
Auriel is no ordinary dragon. In fact, they’re not truly a dragon at all, but a seraphim from a faraway realm on a different plane of existence altogether. As a Seraphim, Auriel usually stays within the City of Golden Light to keep watch at the base of the Throne. However, as darkness spreads, and other angels Fall, Auriel has found themself tasked with the duties of the archangels; to travel to different realms and alleviate suffering, bring down righteous fury at true evil, and heal the broken cracks in the fabric of space-time. As a seraphim, Auriel’s powers are far greater than all the other angels. Auriel must be careful to not reveal their true identity to anyone while working in secret, lest they tip off demons who would wish to capture and do them harm.
Although not used to the body of a dragon, Auriel has come to Sornieth to help heal the land and bring peace to its inhabitants. Auriel travels alone, wandering from place to place, offering help to clans in need, whoever they may be.

Trivia
  • Since Auriel is a seraphim, they do not have a concept of gender, nor even a real mortal body, so they go by they/them or any other pronouns someone uses for them.
  • Auriel is the oldest of the remaining 4 seraphim, but is often treated as younger as they have had less experience outside their home.
  • Auriel prefers the element of fire, and so has chosen to become a fire flight dragon on Sornieth.
