He sings, clear as crystal - a lovely sound, as haunting as it is heavenly. The gentle rise and fall, tripping sweetly over notes, makes passersby pause with breath held to listen. They breathe as he breathes, only where the melody allows for it. Time slows, dreamlike. He has sung for only a minute. He has sung for a century. It doesn’t matter - they’d listen forever.

But his song does end. His lips close on a contented smile, eyes closed too in an expression of peace. Only for a moment. He grins, and the spell breaks.

A flurry of questions - did they enjoy? What was best? What could be better? Would they like another song? All his stillness vanishes as if it never had been as he bounces in place, flits from person to person, alight with excitement. His enthusiasm is a different type of captivating, to some - but to so many, it’s too jarring against his earlier serenity, and he’s left to sing alone once more.
  • Needs glasses to see but hates wearing them, so he switches between squinting at people and making slightly-unfocused eye contact
  • Carries a bag of throat remedies around with him everywhere - teas, honey, and other herbal medicines picked up from his original home in Nature
  • His bag sometimes also contains his pet corn snake (which he accidentally obtained when it slithered in there without him noticing and he brought it home). He named it Marigold.

♡ TAURIK (a dancer) Lura wants very badly for Taurik to dance to one of his songs. However, the eagerness with which he asks turns a very shy Taurik into a flustered, stuttering mess. And then he usually runs away.

♡ RESHIKH (a musician) Reshikh's agreed to practice with Lura on occasion, but he was Taurik's friend first, and he tends to go after Taurik rather than stay with Lura when Taurik gets scared off.

♡ DAHIR (a dancer) Dahir’s style matches Lura's well, but the dancer is so standoffish that Lura has had little luck persuading him to work together. Truly an impressive feat on Dahir’s part to give such a deadpan glare that Lura trails off into silence.
