Sarcastic Fashionable Drunkard

Champagne arrived in the early days of Trancespinner, when the kingdom was not yet a kingdom. He'd found his way in during the night, stumbling and muttering gibberish that none could decipher. Upon being asked he insisted that he knew where he was, who he was, and who his questioners were.
As handsome a drake he was, a skillful liar he was not.

so it came to be, like the cat that walked himself, Champagne stayed in Trancespinner; everyday saying he'd leave upon the morrow. But the morrow never came, even as the seasons came and went and Trancespinner grew in power and in size. It had unknowingly become his home, and the council replacing the family he'd long forgotten.
His skill of sword however, was not.

On occasion he'd shown his prowess, and awed hatchlings and adults alike. And often it was that Aster offered him a leading role in the army, but always he denied. He had claimed to be a crusader once, and now it did seem to be true. He was resilient that the life of a fighter was not a life for him.

There was however, a single fighter he could not deny had lain conquest and capture of his heart. Plecrin; the ambitious and clever raptor, with his bright eyes of violet and sleek toned muscle had charmed him from the minute they had met.
