Biography

a b o u t Hemophilia is a model junior Necromancer, the perfect combination of devotion to the Mother and self-centric ambition. She has a strong ability without being particularly exceptional, avoiding notice as either remarkably good or dangerously bad. She is a vocal but not abrasive advocate for the Plaguebringer’s will. She is the ideal Ambassador to take the Plaguebringer's will and word to other clans and other elements, so well does she toe the line between passion and being insufferable. At times, she seems almost two-dimensional, a prop more than a person. ...if one were to ask Yungast, however, he might comment that her well-intentioned insistence that he be more active in the Necromancer Council--and her incessant offers to mentor him in that effort--may border on the frustrating. Why she constantly nudges him to grow his status, he doesn’t understand, but she’s very good at deflecting his questions as to why she doesn’t work on her own position if the Council is so important to her.

Hemophilia's signature items are her acid-etched metal mask, which she is rarely seen without, and what she calls her Book of Palms, a collection of prayers to the Plaguebringer and admonishments to Her children. More than one dragon has tried to correct her into saying "psalms," but she simply points to the dried-blood handprint on the inner cover.
“Sister” is Heem’s vulture shadow. She is entirely wild and untrained, but she has adopted Heem because Heem is the most reliable source of thrown-away food that Sister has ever seen. Heem has never acknowledged Sister while other dragons are near, but Heem is never far from Sister’s lurking presence. |
