Handwerk's familiarity with the cranks and cogs that keep lightning a'flowing goes beyond expertise. Just recently, those very gears caught grim in a freak accident that, I assure you, you do not want to hear the gruesome details of. His clan was quick to force-stop the machine that had caught him in its teeth, though not without permanent damage already having been done. Restoring the missing bits of his body with layers of skin graft tissue was a procedure that took painstaking effort on behalf of clan healers, but was an eventual success. It doesn't seem like Handwerk agrees with that sentiment much, though. Fresh off of the accident still, he refuses to remove the layers of clothing that hide his scarring, despite recommendations to let his wounds breathe. The minute he could grip a stick in physical rehabilitation, he was quick to pick up his wrench and move about the clan's many sites of repair without any acknowledgement of what happened.
