Round 1: Areo allows Bunny and Bakura to shelter in the cave he's found

Round 2: Bunny makes sure Aero and Bakura are both okay before they head out together. She continues to fuss over them as they travel, becoming the group mum. Aero finds this sweet and the three grow closer as they continue their journey. Aero will do his best to protect them

Round 3: Aero hears trouble over the ledge: Maolin, Firefly and Eirostle, the lead group, are being attacked by Dire wolves on a narrow path. It's perilous, and Aero doesn't hesitate in getting down there to help. His new friends follow his lead, and Bakura does his best to protect Bunny.

Sustaining a nasty bite to his leg, Aero just about manages to jump over the wolves but they are hot on his heels, chasing him back down the mountain. At least he's leading them away from the others, he thinks, but he was never a trained fighter and he's outnumbered and injured now.

He sets off his emergency flare, and hopes aid will come before he slows enough for the wolves to catch him.

It's a shame I'll never get to see this orchid, he thinks, before shaking his head at his stupidity. I'd rather see Lilah again. I've got to keep going.
