When the sun begins to set and the stars come out to play, so do the Ichor Sprites. Although generally good-natured, Ichor Sprites are mischievous creatures, clever and curious, delighting in dancing in the dusk, their gleaming eyes glittering in the shadows like the stars that appear in the sky at twilight. They shift and shimmer through the gathering gloom, slipping between shadows and finding comfort in the darkness.

Like their daytime counterparts the Sunbeam Phantoms, Ichor Sprites radiate with a soft light of their own; but where Sunbeam Phantoms glow with the golden light of the sun, Ichor Sprites gleam with the silvery light of the moon and stars.

Ichor Sprites would love nothing more than to see the sunrise just once and dance in the dawn with their cousins the Sunbeam Phantoms, but they evaporate into darkness as soon as the sun rises above the horizon. If an Ichor Sprite were to remain after the sun had risen, it would shrivel into ash in the sun’s rays.
