A delicate musical chime announces the arrival of a lovely pair of new customers, they enter the shop along with a whoosh of cool air. Popular all season long, most visit Sornieth Shave Ice in their off season for their Spiced Indulgences; piping hot beverages to warm your spirit and your claws. In the cooler seasons most are huddled close, enjoying their treats and toddies, while the fireplace crackles and keeps them cozy. The atmosphere is busy, and the shop owner, with her happy smile, mixes her creations with flavorful colored syrups and sometimes a dollop of freshly whipped cream (sometimes two dollops). It is the most popular venue in the lair, and it is frequented by many denizens of the Fortress of Ends.

Tonight a couple of dragons, Lokkadis and Hrimfaxi, are peering into the counter area, requesting a special treat; Taro Hot Cream Tea, a nice and hot beverage with flavors of Candied Taro, with hints of White Chocolate. They watch the spectacle of its production with eager anticipation, and wait patiently for the call, “Orders Up!”.

Lokkadis came into the clan, and immediately found Hrimfaxi, who was the ugly duckling of his clutch; he had low self-esteem, but with the help of his new partner, found happiness with himself. Hatchlings from this pair are confident, and are more interested in inner beauty; they are good at finding mudholes. 		22844.png
