Biography
She was 7g or something and all I had to buy was her familiar for about 8kt, and to brew up a little snake to represent him.
Hatched among the reeds of the Windswept Plateau, but of the lineage of the Lightweaver's children -- the Imperials -- she celebrates both sides of her heritage. She is both Light and Wind, represented in both the arts (Wind) and the gathering of knowledge and enlightenment (Light.) Glinttoll was, in fact, named after both as well, with "Glint" coming from her Light side and "Toll" (a bell sound) coming from her Wind side. That said, she often goes by "Glint."
Glint flies all over the world, collecting knowledge and making poems out of various historical events or general truths. (Also, I wanted a better place to put my FR haikus/senryus.) In time, she even came across a like-minded individual...who happened to be a Serthis. Despite their difference in origin, the two shared a love for poetry, and the Serthis man, Sumige, decided to leave the Flamescale Tribe (a smaller group from the larger whole which actually lives on the Windswept Plateau's Reedcleft Ascent) to travel with his new dragon friend in her nomadic lifestyle. This meant learning to get used to riding the Imperial across the sky -- which was greatly unsettling to him at first, and he even nearly constricted her to death on accident, coiled about her neck -- but he eventually got used to the mode of transport.
Sumige was originally named for his inky-colored hair, but it eventually gained a new meaning as he uses a brush and ink to write poetic verse. Besides being a poetry enthusiast himself, and often writing down both his own and Glinttoll's compositions, he is also a singer. His singing style is...unique. The style in which he sings changes pitch often, but in such a way as the breath is continuously controlled. It's certainly one of those sorts of things where you either love it or hate it.

Since Haiku aren't supposed to be silly, I tried to focus on more somber FR canon. That said, I did include a senryu (the snarky cousin of the haiku.)
Arcanist's Logic
Into space I gaze
Something sinister is there
I SHOULD WAVE TO IT!
There was also a poetry-related thing elsewhere and I combined broadcast messages (without altering how they were written) into some fun ones.
She has also received poetry!

The forgotten God smiles, albeit shyly in a bashful way, as he unfurls the parchment before the other. Clearing his throat, he begins to read what he had once written for Glinttoll and all the lovely that she is,
"Words not surmise,
the warm comforts your own ink brings,
to those fraught without a lover's sunrise.
You who is as clear as glass itself,
as well spoken as the leaves in whispering winds,
delicate and perfect... your-very-self.
A glowing soul in love with the art they create...
And I, a hopeless poet hopelessly captivate..."
"Not my best work." He admits in a soft, gentle voice. "...But one could argue otherwise since it was inspired by you." [/center]
to which she replied!
And Apollo (the Imperial there) loved it! And so, Glint has learned that she likes flirting, and Sumige has something new to sigh about. :D
Even people who think the Arcanist did, in fact, NOT nearly destroy the world twice seem to like the senryu I wrote about the Arcanist almost destroying the world. Hahah. X3

Glint's face warms with color and with a smile, flattered at being not only the recipient of a poem, but the inspiration for it. Taking up her brush and ink, she writes as she recites the poem's reply as it's being created.
The sun warms the air and lifts me higher
Spread out below me are gold-touch fields and trees
What was once new and exciting I regard now in awe
Wrapped in warmth from the glow, the sun above me
Fills my heart and makes me shine.
Smiling as before but a bit bashful, a quick, quiet giggle escapes her. "Does that express my thanks well enough, Sun?"

Oooh She's gorgeous! And I love that she has her friend wrapped around her tail, that's so cute. Her haiku are so lovely and somber.

Also your poem is great, truly the best explanation of Spacedad's logic
