Karin is a subordinate of Orochimaru. She assists with experiments and was in charge of one of his hideouts.
Karin has a crush on Sasuke and followed him when he recruited for Team Taka.
She kept on supporting team Taka, even after she noticed that Sasuke's chakra darkened and becoming unsure if he's following the right path. She never got along with Suigetsu and kept on arguing with him as soon as they talked with each other. She got along well with Juugo.
Karin has the unique ability to transfer her chakra to another person if she is bitten. With this she can heal other's wounds. She is a Sensor Type and can sense others people chakra from a distance.

Although Karin is flaring up quickly, especially around Suigetsu, she has a soft spot for the people she cares for and looks after them.
