Cantaloupe would describe himself as someone who’s satisfied with very little. He has his job, his mate, and a comfortable place to sleep. He doesn’t need to worry about wars or food running out.
He’s satisfied with all that- since he knows he’s lucky he’s even got it all. He doesn’t understand the constant need for more- the ambition that drives some dragons to extremes, making them lose this safety in the process.
Due to this outlook, many would describe Cantaloupe as ‘lazy’ or ‘indiffrent’, which the veilspun doesn’t really care about. He lives his life his way, and provides food for the clan, so there shouldn’t really be an issue, right? Because of the care he puts into raising his crop, no-one ever has to go hungry, and the few goats he keeps as livestock provide flesh in case harvests fail. He’s doing enough
