A delicate musical chime announces the arrival of a lovely pair of new customers, they enter the shop along with a whoosh of cool air. Popular all season long, most visit Sornieth Shave Ice in their off season for their Spiced Indulgences; piping hot beverages to warm your spirit and your claws. In the cooler seasons most are huddled close, enjoying their treats and toddies, while the fireplace crackles and keeps them cozy. The atmosphere is busy, and the shop owner, with her happy smile, mixes her creations with flavorful colored syrups and sometimes a dollop of freshly whipped cream (sometimes two dollops). It is the most popular venue in the lair, and it is frequented by many denizens of the Fortress of Ends. Tonight a couple of dragons, Isidori and Fawn, are peering into the counter area, requesting a special treat; Yumberry Tea, a nice and hot beverage with flavors of Sweet Yumberries, with hints of Lemon. They watch the spectacle of its production with eager anticipation, and wait patiently for the call, “Orders Up!”.  more infoIsidori and Fawn buzz around the lair, delivering the baked goods, and sweets that they help produce. The day that Fawn was introduced to Isidori in the bakery, a plume of flour still floating about the air, he couldn't help but be enamored. The two are energetic, sugary sweet, and have a joined passion for anything buttery or flakey. Offspring from this pair will grow up with knowledge about cooking and will enjoy getting their hands dirty with chores. They may also need to bathe a bit more often than other hatchlings. |
