Xie

Xie, a scholarly mage from an unknown land, only desiring to learn more and continue in their pursuit of knowledge, one day showed up in the kingdom, and nobody’s questioned it yet.

Nobody was quite sure when or where Xie had appeared. One day, he wasn’t there, the next day, he was. Nonetheless, the Kingdom of Thorns welcomed him with open arms. He seemed to care little for fighting or combat, apparently only wanting to learn and gain new knowledge.

Sometimes, his experiments can get a little out of hand, but he always promises that they’ll never be so dangerous that they could severely injure someone. After the fifth incident someone got their scales nearly blown off, there were significantly more doubts.

However, Xie’s research has proven to be invaluable, the information and results he gets from his experiments greatly benefitting the Kingdom of Thorns. Although unorthodox, the dragon’s tests are surprisingly useful.

Xie is an unpredictable and careless dragon, often getting himself into rough situations and making reckless moves all for the sake of his research. When he’s not rambling on and on about some fancy magical experiment he’s doing, Xie can be found at the local library. He can be a great conversation partner, friendly and willing to talk so long as you can understand him.

Strangely enough, he has befriended the mercenary Lumin, in a strange turn of events. Lumin was assigned to escort the scholar to a festival and Xie’s slightly concerning habits grew on him.
