A group of dragons who left the original Clan Ketupa, moved only a few minutes away, and are very good at names, shut up.

i wasn't sure where else to specify the lore so i'll put it here

basically when the ink arc started mask and kite had to go hide out somewhere because ketupa_1 was like "hey you two are children you shouldn't be fighting" "but we want to" "no" and then ferress went with them as the adult supervision, and they went exploring and found a cave in light overlooking a cliff overlooking shadow. this is the ketupa_2 lair.

a few days later, while hunting, mask and ferress find a disheveled toras looking for someplace to lay low for a while. they bring him back and everyone (except toras) silently agrees that he's their new dad.

a few more days later and toras discovers a "shade-touched" "fae" whos been feeding off their life forces in secret. he adopts her immediately

so then lets say, about a month later, dustcarve dig happens! wren goes to check it out and accidentally awakens fain, who follows her home and immediately adopts everyone else. a few days later the ink arc concludes and mask and kite just go "nah we'd rather stay up here bye <3" when told that it's safe to return.

also at some point they renamed themselves to "clan zeyl" instead because having two ketupas would be confusing. so. yeah.

everything changed when the ice gang attacked

The 'Who knocked over my plants' meme with Mint and Saffron. In the first part of the image, the fallen plants have a red and green Skydancer and a robotic teal Bogsneak over them and the text says 'WHO KNOCKED OVER MY DRAGONS.' Mint says to Sum, a Ridgeback, 'It is Pride Month, Sum. You know what that means.' Sum says 'huh. what.' Mint gracefully glides away while Sum continues 'do you want me to like. kill Zane gayly. what.'

at one point bl got really drunk and gave everyone in the court of fate rw ancient names. mint's is Looping Thorns, Swallowing Shadows.
update: this possibly happened before rach died because i doubt bl named thorns [unless?] but anyway Spiraling Shadows, Sprouting Mint. [Sprouting Spicata?]
