Flintfire

He likes to keep to himself a lot. Like, a reeeeal lot. He's extremely introverted and doesn't like hanging around areas with a lot of dragons. He prefers to be alone and in the past he often asked Winterheart or Cocoafur if he can leave the clan to run errands instead of Lodestar. In the present day, Lodestar and Softpatch have allowed Flintfire to take on the full responsibilities of the clan's messenger, and he carries his burden with silent, hidden pride.

He's quite handy with his magic but much better with his broadsword. He can pull off simple, basic spells like summoning a Contuse or turning a small puddle of water into shadowy goo, but he can't summon a Shadow Bolt or melt into the shadows to move around. For that kind of magic you should be looking at Moonflight, not Flintfire.

If one couldn't tell already, this dragon loves red and black, and prefers to wear Crimson Rogue apparel because of its hues. The white is just an added touch, and reminds him just slightly of his parents, but mainly his father. He's not ashamed of his past, but not proud of it, either.

Once while on a trip to the Shifting Expanse, he came upon a dripping Veilspun who needed help being freed from one of three doors. Flintfire chose the third door, freed the Veilspun, and was rewarded with another, a hatchling named Rasa. This small dragon simply refuses to leave Flintfire alone and will follow him around everywhere as if the little one was a familiar himself. Although he does little more than be a nuisance to Flintfire, the messenger secretly enjoys his company and allows Rasa to crawl all over his back, scramble and squeeze into every space in his clothing, and play with Puree, Flintfire's familiar.

Being a Shadow dragon, Flintfire shows much interest in shadows and the night, and sometimes pulls all-nighters just to witness the moon soar across the sky and illuminate the cold dens, casting soft shadows where its light did not touch. He'll sneak out at night and take off into the chilly sky to bathe in the dark night.

Somehow, this makes him prone to having vivid dreams when he sleeps, too. While asleep he takes on the form and alias of Bluefire, a magically powerful Light dragon. What happens to Bluefire in the dream world often ends up happening to Flintfire in the real world - other than Bluefire's vast knowledge of magical spells. (Being a Shadow dragon isn't the best thing in the world.)
