Toxic

Born to gentle foragers in the Tidelord's domain, Toxic began his life as a happy, sweet dragon with little strife in his early days. However, the gods had something much more dire than a life of rest and bliss among the crystal clear currents. Shortly after reaching adulthood, Toxic had his first vision as a seer. Though he never spoke of what he had seen in that first message from the gods, it immediately changed his nature. Once given to playful adventures, he now trod purposefully and silently through the Tidelord's territory. Though his clan did their best to be supportive in the face of his calling, many were relieved when he announced his departure.

In truth, Toxic had known where he must go from his first vision, and had merely been attempting to avoid his fate as long as possible. However, once he was ready to face what the gods had decreed, he committed fully, shedding the place, name, and clan of his birth. As he stood at the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, the gentle waves lapping at his feet, he bid farewell to the clear blue water and the warmth of the sun on his fur. One god above the others had claimed him: the Shadowbinder.

With a grim determination he followed his visions as best he could, until he finally reached his current clan. It took but a glance at the clan's leader to know that he had finally reached the place where his life would take root. Toxic offered his service as a seer to Irkalla, and quickly gained her respect and trust with his warnings of impending threats. In time, she accepted him as her mate, and he keeps a watchful eye on those who grow restless under her rule.

Though Toxic occasionally misses the smell of salt air, he has never returned to the Tidelord's domain. His old clan loved him, but were never comfortable with his seership. His new clan respected him deeply, and they understood the importance of his connection with the gods. With time, Toxic has earned Irkalla's love, something that even his seer-sense always saw as uncertain. This victory has brought a great deal of peace and contentment to Toxic's life.
