"Oh, I couldn't possibly choose!" Willow protested. "All my dolls are so special to me. It's like asking me to choose my favorite child!" Their low, grumbly voice sounds mock-offended, but their smile seems more mischievous.
"It's Hart," the baby Bogsneak at their feet answers curtly. "He's my favorite too!"
"I--well, honey--" Willow stuttered, trying to quickly refute her son's claims.
"Aw, Lady Willow! I'm touched!" Hart comments from the rafters, which it was dusting. "Am I really your favorite?"
Another Spiral doll chimes in, "How lucky you are, to have Master Willow's favor like that! Color me jealous," it jokes.
"Now, guys--"
"If Overlord Willow sees it appropriate to pick favorites, I suppose I have no room to argue," replies a third doll, a Skydancer this time, "but I have to question your taste, dear Overlord."
"Enough," she chastises, causing the dolls to scatter while giggling, lest they actually get in trouble. She sighs and looks to you. "Apologies about that."
"Well, I suppose I can make them however big you want. But they're meant to be travel companions, so the non-commission dolls tend to be more, well, pocket-size, in theory." She holds up an imperial doll, about 3 feet in length, or the size of a large Fae. It gives you a little wave! "Of course, the size of your pocket can vary quite a bit based on your breed..." She gives you a wink.
She taps her chin thoughtfully. "I suppose if you wanted a life-size doll, that's easily doable. But the commission prices for a Fae will be wildly different than a commission for a Guardian." She makes a dismissive wave of her hand. "But that part was probably obvious.
"As for your second question... Well, I suppose if you wanted to spend the money on such materials, I could try to make them look more realistic, but I think they look much cuter this way." The Imperial doll smiles a big, goofy grin, and you notice it doesn't have teeth. "Still, if you do decide to take one home, remember that they will need maintenance. You can always ship them back here if you don't know how to sew yourself. Otherwise, if their locomotion starts to slow down significantly, you should bring them back in so I can recharge their energy. They'll be back to their old self in just a few minutes!"
