It's no surprise that Gladis is one of the youngest of Clan Chaelystis because she can certainly act like it. She is easily excitable, bubbly, a bit naive, and sometimes childish. She can be forgetful and misplace a lot of things, and she is known to space out on occasion. However, she is an extremely kind and hard-working dragon that a lot of the clan depends on.

She was once-upon-a-time known as Levina before joining Clan Chaelystis- abandoned by her parents for reasons unknown. She was found as a hatchling by Euara who took her in and taught her the ways of herbology. It was then she was given the name Gladis to leave her old name and past behind her.

Gladis took quickly to learning herbalism and began crafting medicines for other clan members. She was quickly noticed by the clan's main militia leader- Peaches- who needed a competent healer for her military front. Gladis then began training under Peaches in the ways of combat and became a member under Boreas' and Oblivion's battle team.

Gladis suits being the clan's main healer quite well due to her kind nature, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand. She has a strong sense of justice, though sometimes she lets her strong views get her riled up. She is an all-around humanitarian that only wants what's best for everyone. 'Peace' and 'Love' and all that.

She is a very knowledge-hungry dragon who wishes to learn as much as she can about a variety of things- history, mythology, cultures, languages, and much, much more. She is also interested in the creative arts such as writing, painting, and music despite not being very artistic herself. Due to her curious (and flighty) nature, her home is piled in books of many topics- many of them being unfinished as she jumps from topic to topic quite regularly.

However, Gladis also has her sporadic down days where she is unmotivated, pessimistic, and sluggish. Most of the time, she tries not to show this side of her and will actively put up a smiling facade to others to the point where many don't even know she has these episodes. Only a few of the older clan members are aware of her shifts and actively help her in any way they can when she requests it- even if that means just taking the day off.

RELATIONS

BOREAS - TEAMMATE
Gladis and Boreas are like night and day, salt and pepper- so different and yet they go together so well. Despite their constant bickering and back-and-forth, Gladis admires Boreas greatly. She is constantly hovering over his shoulder while he works and is always enamoured with his knowledge and skill. Boreas even has a miniature mental booklet of nicknames for her including Snapdragon, Buttercup, Tiger Lily, and Walllower; many meant to be condescending, but Gladis doesn't mind and knows it's all in good fun... she thinks.

OBLIVION - TEAMMATE
Almost like a brother figure to Gladis, Obi is always the first to jump in if she's in any danger. While he may not talk much, he's always there to lend an open ear and be there for her when she is down. He is the first person Gladis goes to whenever she needs downtime or just a shoulder to cry on. His presence is comforting to her and he never objects to just sitting with her for hours in silence while she reads a book or takes a nap. Gladis thinks their friendship doesn't need words and feels like he understands her more than anyone else.
