Light filtered through the branches above her, a swinging canopy of warm golds and lush greens. Here along the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and the Viridian Labyrinth was where Ninsar felt most comfortable. She came here as often as she could. It was as though she could feel the plants around her soaking up rays not only from the Sun, but from the Ruins as well. Strong, supple branches formed cathedrals topped with verdant splendour, and it was among the trees especially that the combination of energies felt best. As she flitted and frolicked among bough and beam, she soon felt she was not alone this time; curious, she paused and turned, and saw another Fae had been following her. Much like Ninsar, this Fae also looked like a tree.

Hello!" Ninsar called in greeting, not sensing any menace from the other dragon. "What do you call yourself?"

My name is Caed," replied the Fae. "I am the matriarch of the Dryads of Brokiloen. We seek to cultivate and protect these beloved lands, through passion and power alike. I was moved to join one of our patrols today, and I now understand why: I could not help but notice that you move through these forests as swiftly and gracefully as any other Dryad in our Clan. Will you join us?"

Ninsar considered, puzzled at the sudden and straightforward question that was by no means without consequence. "Why should I?" She asked in reply.

Tell me, child, what it was you felt even just a minute ago." Caed answered, fluttering her lower crests subtly, indicating a sort of gentle, patient amusement.

Well," mused Ninsar aloud, "I was enjoying the way that the radiance of Light and the growth of Nature seemed to be working together. These trees, their millions of leaves drinking in the rays from the Sun and the Ruins, and creating something so... Beautiful. It is satisfying in a way I have not yet found anywhere else."

And if I told you that you could feel that satisfaction all the time? That you could be a part of it?" Prompted Caed, beginning to turn back to the heart of the forest, and to the dragons waiting for her -- a Guardian and a Pearlcatcher, both camouflaged perfectly among the trees.

At the very thought, Ninsar flicked her upper crests excitedly. A chance to be a part of this? That was something she could never pass up.

Swift and cunning, the descendants of Dziki and Sosna prove their worth to any clan they join. They are the fastest and boldest flyers, never shying from stormy skies or windy days. They do have a penchant for mischief that gets them intro trouble more often than not, but they’re plenty clever enough to weasel their way back out of it (most of the time). They don’t have a particularly strict sense of morality and they have no qualms about playing dirty if it looks like they’re losing a fight.
