Brokiloen's Clan

The Dryads of Brokiloen welcome you! We are a matriarchical clan, focused on protecting the forests from destruction and encroachment by means of combat, magic, and proactive preservation.

Not long after the Two Sisters, the Gladekeeper and the Plaguebringer, established their disagreements, and the Beastclans rose to take territories of their own, a call was put out that evoked not just a physical response, but an elemental one. The Dryads of Brokiloen came into being in order to protect what had given them life in the first place and that which they had a spiritual connection to: Nature itself. Driven by this worthy cause, they tread lightly and fly gracefully through the tangles and mazes that trap other dragons and beasts, undetectable to even those who know what to look for. The Dryads of Brokiloen rise time and again from the depths of the Green to serve the Gladekeeper, protect their home, and encourage the healthy growth of the Viridian Labyrinth. Caed, their current leader and founder (said to have sprung from the soil itself) who is named for the forests and groves she holds so dear, built without breaking a tribe of dragons, and partnered with the humanoid Dryads to cultivate and protect their beloved forests. Blathe, a lover of growth and learning, joined her and supported her for the good of the Earth. Neither group of Dryads ever destroy trees to build their lairs, homes, and nests, having instead found a way to convince the plants in the heart of their territory to grow in formations that accomodate them. Loyal to the Gladekeeper, but uninterested in vying for her attentions, the Dryads of Brokiloen send their warriors and other members to serve her when they deem the time is right. As they guard the forests, they remain unafraid to capture any dragons or beasts that do not seem to be aligned with Nature... Wander at your own peril, but fear not if you mean no harm. While their diligence to protect the forests is paramount, the Dryads are not entirely inhospitable; their way of life is open to those who wish to honor Nature.
