Wisp

Excitable and quick-witted, Wisp is both the ambassador for Trennore's newcomers and the mouthpiece of the clan's resident reclusive sorcerer, Periwinkle. A scout who takes every job she can, she and Peri arrived late into the clan's founding, two outcasts with only themselves and the turning of the world to rely on, no treasure or gems to their names. Even after integrating into the clan's way of life, they remain inseparable, with Wisp refusing to do anything without him.

Ever since she and Periwinkle stumbled upon the village, she was the one who adapted quickly. It's become a sort of tradition for newly-hatched dragons to spend a few days in her care, learning about the clan's residents, nooks, and crannies. Any new arrivals are usually passed on to her as well, after their mandatory meeting and lecture with Azu and Tobias.

Despite her role of ambassador, Wisp has a mischievous streak continents long. Her favorite activity is giving out nuggets of "wisdom" to the hatchlings of Trennore, despite the clan elders and guards repeatedly telling to stop.

Some of these wisdom nuggets include "It's not stealing if you aren't caught", "It's not snooping if you aren't caught", "It's not cowardice if you're the only one in danger", and "Seanacht is a big softie who loves puns". She is also well-known for her...well.....tendency to borrow things. Without asking permission. A Ridgeback in a Fae's skin, Tobias calls her.

The hatchlings still love her anyway, questionable advice aside. Her constant raids on Latherine's bakery and the Atavist fields probably have something to do with her popularity. Her infectious friendliness is usually enough to win anyone over, since after all, her best friend and nestmate of many years is one of the most prickly and aloof dragons in the entire clan!

She's still having to work on befriending Seanacht though....
