Newt

Newt currently resides near the Lilypad Pond, a beautiful and vivid oasis deep in the rainforest. The pure, clean water nourishes his thin skin, and he's delighted by the region's megaflora, which remind him of home. Newt is comfortable with the simple subsistence life he's built here; most of his belongings were either picked up on his travels or fashioned out of whatever was nearby at the time. Newt enjoys a quiet life in the beautiful surroundings of the Lilypad Pond with his mate, Jewel.


Newt was born in a clan far beneath Dragonhome; a beautiful, lush refuge exists within a great cavern, the flora and fauna fed by an underground river not unlike the one unearthed during the Dustcarve Dig. Not that they'd ever hear about such a thing in their home, isolated as it was by the world above. The dragons living in the area had done so in peace for many many years, with their home untouched by the surface and vice versa - after all, they had everything they needed in their clan under the earth. These dragons are characterized by their thin, porous skin, meaning they're incredibly susceptible to injury and disease, particularly of the waterborne variety. They're a peaceful sort, independent of the fact that they'd make poor fighters, and none had ever found cause to leave their underground oasis - until Newt, that is.
