Biography
(Favored Familiars) -
Exploration and the pursuit of knowledge takes many forms.
This ferocious Mirror warrior is the guardian of Lau-Okoa's garden, and a very bad day for anyone who carelessly tramples her plants. Mind the thorns, and the claws, and the hissing, angry bite! He likes plants; he does not, in general, like other dragons very much.
Orisceo has an excellent memory, and might already know more about the plants in Lau-Okoa's garden than almost any dragon in the lair. Just how he gathers this knowledge could be related to why healer and researcher Carregwaed (among others) kept missing some of his notes, only to have them turn up later dusted in pollen and nicked with clawmarks; a strange affliction which has spread throughout Tangleroost since Carregwaed's cocooning.
This epidemic of "misplaced" items might have something to do with why sorceress Maemd gives Orisceo a deathstare if he comes anywhere near her den. (On the other hand, she kind of looks at everyone like that. Also, it is not as though that stops him.)
Orisceo's autumn sea dragon familiar lives in a special pool in the back of the garden, beside the "Bother Me And Be Eaten" sign. His pet Troodo is, um.... somewhere.... probably moving at speed away from the rightful owner of whatever it is clutching.
