hotaru is venom's mate and the most windy wind dragon you'll ever meet. girl never leaves the sky, my god. good luck ever finding her on the ground

coming from a line of piebald imperials that reside in cloudsong, a prestigious old money lineage that had expectations for hotaru that she Did Not Like. classic titanic syndrome- ran away, met the boy, and embraced her wild heart. thankfully he didn't promptly die in the ocean after man that'd suck right

when she's not spending all her time in the sky exploring, hotaru visits her children (whom she loves dearly), spends time with venom, or teaches a kite making class to the youngins that zyanya fosters. for all her happy and bubbly cute vibes, hotaru is viciously protective of her clan and home, and is a powerful wind sorceress that can whip twisters into being with seemingly no effort. her flying skills are unmatched in the clan

persephone's takeover has turned her into a force of nature to not be reckoned with. more than any of the others she makes daring ventures towards shadow territory to search them out, and has on more than one occasion almost caught the tyrant queen in a vulnerable spot. she's the main reason why persephone keeps venom on her at all times now- because while hotaru WILL try and rip her to pieces, she will not ever even try to scratch venom. his plight brings her great pain and heartbreak, and every day she works tirelessly to find a way to break him of his spell and bring him home
