______ Being the son of the head tactician for Oculus' prison, you'd think that Heracles would at least be slightly intelligent. However you'd be wrong, as Heracles is a rather dim dragon, more muscle than brains. But despite lacking brain cells, the Gaoler urge to protect is incredibly prominent in him. He gladly defends the surrounding clans and his co-workers from outside threats with little regards for his own well being. This, plus his general soft spot for women and hatchlings has earned him the reputation of being a sweetheart and friendly giant. He is still as vicious as any Carnage, but only to those he deems a threat, or that are deemed a threat by his superiors.

Heracles turned to the tiny fae as she zipped around looking at his work. Her and her mate's den had its entryway sustain damage in a beast clan raid, one that Heracles had driven off with ease. But the damage left it structurally unsound, and her guardian mate was out on a trading trip, so Heracles had offered to help her fix it.

"It's perfect, thank you so much Heracles."

The standard fae monotone didn't bother him in the slightest and instead he laughed and gave her a warm smile.

"Anytime Flora. Give Grout my regards."

"Of course."

The fae waved farewell as he wandered off to help other residents. Righting a wagon here, hauling repair materials there, Heracles was getting a good workout on top of being busy.

"Heracles! Heracles!"

He heard a voice call as a group of hatchlings scrambled up to him and quickly hid behind his legs. He looked at them confused before a rather amused looking mirror trotted over.

"Hey Heracles, you happen to see where Cleo and her friends went?"

"Can't say I have Richter. Maybe they went to bug Gemma for her cookies?"

"Maybe I'll go check. It's almost naptime for them."

The mirror hurried away and the hatchlings tumbled out from behind the Carnage.

"Now you imps run along. Maybe if you ask, he'll let you have cookies before naptime."

He scolded lightly, receiving a chorus of "Yes, Mr. Heracles!" Before the hatchlings bounded off.

He smiled to himself, this is why he loved his job.
