Runs on D&D 5e logic. Has ability scores, classes (Lore Bard, in his case), etcetera. His Familiar is the sentient set of Dice of Bargaining that floats around him. The Veilspun Verse is technically a sentient harp (homebrewed by the DM Regina, but basically a reskinned Cli Lyre) that he's attuned to, and acts as his spellcasting focus. The upside of this is that his health MUST be depleted to 0 and fail 3 death saves before actually dying instead of just bleeding to death, and he has access to D&D spells. The downside is that he needs Long / Short Rests, has limited spell spots, and needs to make rolls for absolutely everything before he can do anything. Yes, the rolls even determine whether he can unlock his front door properly.
