Whisk

Steadfast and silent, Whisk has been with the clan since its start as a loose group of mercenaries. He was a hunter long before that - butchering meat, skinning pelts - but a lull in business pushed him into taking on bounties for the countless beasts that trawled the Ruins.

The pay was much higher than selling veal, but so was the price. He'd return battered and bruised, night after night, muscles burning long after retiring to bed and right up until it was time to hunt again.

The poorly-healed wounds were taking their toll, and the constant exhaustion made him sloppy. But what other option was there? Starve? Forgo lodgings and sleep outside, plagued by exposure and injury? He was like a shark: stop moving, and you're dead in the water.

Though technically a founding member, the Wildclaw is most content following another's lead. He's still a mercenary to the bone - strong, obedient, and willing to put in whatever work the group requires of him, from battle to pitching camp.
